How we help Indian professionals find genuine UK sponsored jobs

The biggest challenge in finding a UK sponsored job is not your qualifications. It is knowing which employers can legally sponsor you, how to identify those roles from thousands of listings, and how to present your Indian experience in a way that UK hiring managers understand and value.

We have direct connections with licensed sponsors across healthcare, engineering, IT, finance, and education. We do not post generic job boards. We match your profile, qualification level, and career goals with employers who have active sponsorship licences and roles that match.

1
Eligibility and profile assessment

We assess your occupation code, salary history, English language status, and criminal record considerations to confirm your eligibility before you apply for anything.

2
Sponsor matching and introduction

We identify Home Office-licensed employers in your sector and introduce your profile directly. This is not a job board. It is a direct referral to sponsors we know are hiring.

3
CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn optimisation

Indian CVs follow a different format and emphasis from UK hiring norms. We rewrite your documents to match UK standards and highlight the experience UK employers look for.

4
Interview preparation and mock sessions

UK interviews, particularly in the NHS and regulated sectors, have structured competency-based formats. We run mock interviews using actual question frameworks the sector uses.

5
Certificate of Sponsorship and visa application support

Once you receive a job offer, the employer issues a Certificate of Sponsorship. We guide you through the visa application using that certificate, including document preparation and compliance checks.

Who can apply for a Skilled Worker visa?

To be eligible for a Skilled Worker visa, you need a confirmed job offer from a licensed sponsor, in a role that appears on the eligible occupations list, paying at least the salary threshold for that occupation code, and you need to meet the English language requirement (usually IELTS 4.0 in each component or equivalent).

There is no annual cap on the number of Skilled Worker visas issued. Visas are granted for up to 5 years initially. After 5 years of continuous residence, most sponsored workers are eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).

Skilled Worker Visa

For most professionals. Salary threshold £38,700 (or going rate). IHS applies (£1,035/year).

Health and Care Worker Visa

For NHS and CQC-regulated roles. IHS exempt. Lower fees. Same sponsorship requirement.

Intra-Company Transfer

For professionals transferring within a multinational employer. Different salary rules apply.

Graduate Visa

For UK university graduates. 2-year open work rights. No sponsorship needed. Not a route to ILR directly.

Which sectors have the most sponsored jobs for Indian professionals?

The UK has active sponsored hiring across several high-demand sectors where Indian professionals are well-placed. Sponsorship availability changes with the labour market, but these sectors have consistently had the highest volume of sponsored roles for internationally trained candidates.

Healthcare (NHS and Private)

Nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, radiographers, paramedics, and doctors. The Health and Care Worker visa route removes IHS costs and speeds processing. High demand across all NHS trusts.

Information Technology

Software engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, DevOps, and cybersecurity. UK tech employers sponsor globally. Indian IT professionals have strong placement rates in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

Engineering

Civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. Construction and infrastructure projects are driving demand. Chartership from recognised Indian engineering institutions supports applications.

Finance and Accounting

Qualified accountants (CA, ACCA, CIMA equivalent), financial analysts, and risk professionals. London financial services sector has active sponsored hiring for internationally qualified finance professionals.

Education

Teachers in secondary school subjects with shortage (maths, physics, chemistry, computing). The UK runs a separate Teacher visa for qualified teachers from select countries including India.

Social Care

Senior care workers and specialist roles in CQC-registered settings. High volume of sponsorship in this sector. Salaries are lower but the route to ILR is the same. Health and Care Worker visa applies.

Common questions about UK sponsored jobs from India

Q
How do I know if an employer is a genuine licensed sponsor?

The Home Office publishes a public list of organisations registered to sponsor overseas workers. This is searchable by name, location, and sector. If an employer who claims to offer sponsorship does not appear on this list, they cannot legally sponsor your visa. We verify sponsor status for every employer we refer candidates to.

Q
Are there sponsored jobs for freshers or people with less than 2 years of experience?

Yes, particularly in healthcare, IT, and engineering. The new entrant salary threshold of £30,960 applies to recent graduates and those switching from a student visa. Some graduate training schemes at large organisations also offer sponsorship. Roles requiring fewer years of experience are more competitive, but they exist.

Q
Can my family come with me on a Skilled Worker visa?

Yes. Your spouse or partner and children under 18 can apply as dependants on your Skilled Worker visa. Dependants can work in any capacity in the UK once they arrive. The IHS applies to each dependant unless the main applicant is on the Health and Care Worker route. Dependant applications are separate from the main application.

Q
What is the difference between a sponsored job and a job that leads to permanent residency?

All Skilled Worker visa holders who remain in continuous employment with a licensed sponsor and meet the other ILR requirements (including the continuous residence and salary requirements) can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain after 5 years. The sponsorship visa itself does not automatically lead to ILR, but it is the most direct employment route to permanent residency in the UK for Indian professionals.
