Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 August 2026

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the website thetutorment.com and the career counselling services provided by The Tutorment ("we", "us", "our"), co-founded by Vipul Jain and Priyanshu Goyal. By booking a consultation, using our contact form, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About The Tutorment

The Tutorment is a career counselling service providing one-to-one guidance for students and professionals in the UK and India. Our services include:

  • HCPC registration support (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiography)
  • NMC registration support (Nursing)
  • UK sponsored job search and application guidance
  • Funded PhD and scholarship guidance
  • Campus placement coaching
  • Salary enhancement and career progression advice
  • General career counselling and eligibility assessment

We operate from the UK and serve clients globally, with particular focus on India-to-UK career transitions.

2. Free Consultation

We offer a free initial career consultation to assess whether our services are the right fit for you. This consultation:

  • Is provided at no cost and with no obligation
  • Lasts approximately 20–30 minutes
  • Is conducted via video call, phone, or WhatsApp
  • Involves honest assessment of your eligibility and prospects
  • Does not guarantee placement, registration, or employment

We will tell you honestly within the first session whether we are the right fit to help you. If we cannot help, we will say so.

3. Paid Services and Payment Terms

3.1 Service Fees

After the free consultation, if both parties agree to proceed, we will provide a clear quotation for the agreed services. Fees vary depending on the type and scope of service:

  • Career counselling packages
  • HCPC/NMC registration support
  • UK job search and application assistance
  • PhD/scholarship application support
  • Campus placement coaching

All fees will be communicated in writing before you commit. There are no hidden charges.

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer, UPI (India), or other methods agreed in writing. Payment details will be provided on your invoice or in our correspondence.

3.3 Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Full payment is due before services commence
  • For installment plans, each installment is due before the corresponding service phase begins
  • Overdue payments may result in suspension of services until payment is received

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Free Consultation

You may cancel a free consultation at any time by contacting us. Since no payment is involved, no refund applies.

4.2 Paid Services

  • Before services commence: You may cancel for a full refund of any payment made
  • After services commence: Refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for the portion of services not yet delivered
  • No refund: For services already delivered, including completed consultations, document reviews, or application submissions

4.3 Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend services if:

  • Payment is overdue by more than 14 days
  • The client provides false or misleading information
  • The client's behaviour is abusive, threatening, or unreasonable
  • We reasonably determine that we cannot deliver the service effectively

In such cases, a pro-rata refund for undelivered services will be provided.

5. What We Do NOT Guarantee

The Tutorment provides guidance, coaching, and support. We want to be transparent about what we cannot promise:

  • HCPC/NMC registration approval — Final decisions are made by the regulatory body. We guide you through the process but cannot guarantee acceptance.
  • Job placement — We help you find and apply for roles, but hiring decisions are made by employers. We do not guarantee employment.
  • Visa approval — Visa decisions are made by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). We cannot influence or guarantee outcomes.
  • PhD/scholarship acceptance — Admission decisions are made by universities and funding bodies. We strengthen your application but cannot guarantee acceptance.
  • Salary figures — Any salary ranges mentioned on our website or in consultations are indicative and depend on individual circumstances, employer, and market conditions.
